Oils Used in Raindrop
Raindrop Technique is a technique considered to be an intensive use of essential oils. As such, it is imperative, critical even, that the highest quality oils are used in performing the technique.
As mentioned, Raindrop technique was developed by Dr. D. Gary Young, a naturopath and founder of Young Living Essential Oils. Young Living owns the trademark to the name Raindrop technique, and as such, the only TRUE version of the technique is performed using the oils that pass the Young Living Therapeutic Quality standards. (See also Oil Quality) Note- This site is not associated with the Young Living Essential Oils company.
Raindrop makes use of the following oils that have been shown to have reportable influences.

So all this is simply saying that the action of the oils used in Raindrop Technique are
anti-microbial,
they encourage and soothe digestion,
they relax muscles- both voluntary and involuntary,
they encourage the flow of blood and lymph,
they ease pain and discomfort and
they reduce inflammation.
With so much being shown in research today regarding the importance of moving the stagnant fluids (and solids) in the body, and of the connection between chronic inflammation and degenerative diseases, one can see the potential impact of a technique such as Raindrop, that encourages the movement of fluids, easing pain and inflammation, and at the same time having anti-microbial capabilities as well as emotionally stabilizing impact. There are constituents in essential oils that act as natural solvents and which can aid in the removal of metabolic and chemical residual in our bodies adn as with any cleansing modality, water consumption is important.
There are also additional techniques used along with Raindrop that encourage clearing of emotional negativity and of the chemical residual of our negative emotions. Ask your practitioner if they practice Emotional Release techniques using the oils.
