Who Teaches Raindrop?
Raindrop has been around for over 20 years….
Initially-
Raindrop Technique® was developed by D. Gary Young, Naturopath, and founder of Young Living Essential Oils. Early in the development of Young Living as a company, there were many training classes in which Dr. Young and others trained by him taught new learners. These early classes are the foundation of virtually all of the organizations and programs that teach Raindrop Technique.
In the Year 2000, the largest assembly of Raindrop students gathered in Dallas, Texas to learn Raindrop from Dr. Young and his trained facilitators. There were 1,000 people learning at one time in the Adams Mark Hotel during an unusually snowy time for Texas. The procedures of the technique as it was taught at this assemblage were recorded by Dr. David Stewart. Dr. Stewart had the foresight to realize that the powerful impact of the technique should become a replicate-able experience that can be taught, and presented to Certification bodies for approval as a formalized class. Thus was born the Center for Aromatherapy Research and Education (aka CARE) and what is affectionately referred to as “The Dallas Method”.
Since 2000 Dr. Young has presented many different versions of the Raindrop Technique. In the year 2007, Dr Young invited potential trainers to attend a special certification class in Guyaquil, Ecuador. The result of that training session was the establishment of the 2007 International Standeard for Raindrop Technique and a set of hand picked instructors personally certified by Dr. Young as teachers. The organizations developed by these hand picked instructors are listed here:
Center for Aromatherapy Research and Education (CARE)
By documenting and virtually codifying the Dallas Method for Raindrop Technique, it is able to be presented as a replicate-able modality and can be submitted to accreditation bodies for various professional continuing education requirements. CARE is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Body Work as a provider of continued education. CARE is the only educational body in the US that certifies TEACHERS of the Raindrop Technique and the related curriculum provided by CARE. (i.e. Healing Oils of the Bible, Chemistry, Vita Flex, Raindrop and Emotional Release.) You can learn more about the CARE program here: www.RaindropTraining.com

Other
With the popularity of Raindrop Technique spreading, there may be others who teach it. Certainly several massage schools provide classes in “Raindrop”. Since Raindrop Technique® is an intensive use of essential oils, it is critical that only the highest quality oils are utilized in the process, please be certain that your practitioner learned from an entity that taught the importance of oil quality.
If you are a school that provides education in Raindrop Technique with a professional certification, and you would like to be mentioned here, please let RaindropLocator.com know by sending note with the Contact form. The information would be much appreciated.
